There are so few baby firsts. Those moments that you know you will never have again and so your write them on your heart so that you will never forget them. Today was one of those days. It’s amazing how something as small as your baby eating a somewhat solid food for the first time can completely make your day. You laugh. You cry. You take pictures.
First, we got his bib on (you have to look ready, right?)
Then, he got his first bite of real food.
Figuring out the whole this is not a boobie thing was a little difficult at first.
He really wasn’t sure what to think about this and I began to think it was not going to go well.
But then he decided that solid food just might be OK.
In fact, it was more than OK.
But eating was definitely not as much fun as playing peek-a-boo with the bib.
