I think personalized outfits are one of the cutest things a child can wear. For some reason, having their name or initials on their shirt looks classy but childish at the same time. It is a wonderful, delicate balance that can’t be found in any other type of clothing. Amy at Stitch This Custom Embroidery has the art of making cute, personalized clothing down! She creates items that make your child have a look all of their own. Her talent is amazing.
When Amy sent Miller his customized crab shirt, I could hardly wait to get it out of the package and get it on him. She had sent me pictures when it was completed and I was anxiously checking the mail box each day because I was so excited to get this piece of cuteness for him! And when I opened the package, the product surpassed all my expectations. Not only was it perfectly embroidered, but every detail of it screamed “Miller”! It was like she had taken my little man’s personality and put it on cloth. And all that without ever meeting him. She was able to create the perfect summer shirt for him that is a perfect blend of comfort and style!
Amy has had years of experience that have led her to be able to create these fantastic designs. Back in the 90’s when her oldest son started playing little league, they did not provide uniforms and just gave the kids old blue tee shirt. So she decided to make him a jersey. She put baseball bats on is and embroidered his team name. Once she saw how cute his jersey turned out, she decided she needed a mommy shirt and his sister needed a sis shirt as well. This spread through the whole family till there were little brother and dad shirts too. The she decided to put her son’s name and number on his ball cap since boys can never keep up with their own stuff (don’t I know this!). For obvious reasons, they didn’t even make it through the gates of the first game before people started stopping them and asking where they got their cute shirts. And that was how “Stitch This” was born!
Since then, she has been making custom embroidery and bling items from her home. She has a wealth of knowledge about technique and offers only the highest quality of workmanship. She is very passionate about what she does and really loves her work. She incorporates vintage quilting materials with hot new embellishments such as swavorski crystals to create a one of a kind look that is sure to be noticed!
And here is something new and fantastic as well. Amy has just started “Stitchout Tuesday” – each Tuesday she will be listing one sample shirt for purchase. It will be a specific size and some will already have names on them. For the ones that don’t, you can get your child’s name embroidered! But there will only be ONE for purchase. You will be able to get the tees for just $12 and dresses for just $15! So check back every Tuesday – you won’t want to miss this great deal! There is only one item each week though so be sure to check early because you just might be trying to beat me to her site!
