Here’s the problem I often run into though – when you’re out and about it can be hard to find items that taste great yet are still healthy. You all know that I’ve become somewhat obsessive about the foods I eat and maintaining my weight but let’s just be real here, I love tasty things too! And I definitely don’t want to be left out when the snacking starts. In fact, my love of having something crunchy to much on that still helps me meet my maintenance goals has spilled over into my entire family! And in honor of that, I wanted to share five fabulous ways to snack healthy this summer with all of you!
Way #1: Plan Ahead
I’ll admit it, I often get myself it trouble when it comes to snacking when I don’t plan for it. I find myself empty handed and hungry and that generally leads to disaster. Instead of waiting until you get hungry, it can be super helpful to plan ahead and take snacks for the whole family where ever you go.
