All of you know I’ve been on a mission to cook more at home lately. But let’s just be honest…mama needs a night out every once in a while. And when I do get to go out for dinner, there’s only one thing I want: Steak! Since I think steak is a perfect meal for any occasion, I’m thrilled to have partnered with Outback Steakhouse to share information with you about the new “Bold at Steak” campaign as well as their petition to make steak the first official US food. While I was compensated for this post, all opinions on the awesomeness of Outback are my own.
I’m a carnivore. There, I said it. Steak is my favorite food and the meal that I want when I get the chance to go out for dinner. Thankfully I married a man who is the exact same way and so whether it’s date night or family night out, I always know that when it comes to getting a great steak, we’re heading to Outback. Now for years they have been a favorite place of mine. The hubs and I dated there. Heck, I even worked there when I was in college (I told you I love some steak!). So it should come as no surprise to anyone that I think steak should be the official food of the US.
Thankfully, Outback agrees with me. And while if you’ve ever been there you likely already know that their steaks are pretty much perfection, they are taking things a step further with their new “Bold at Steak” menu and offerings! Focusing on the bold flavors, sights and sound that have long made Outback the steak authority, this new way of looking at steaks includes a brand new menu, fresh menu innovations and even a Wood-Fire Grilled Flat Iron Steak that is seriously mouthwatering!
It’s a menu that could convince anyone that steak truly does deserve to the the first national US food and earlier this week, we had the chance to go try it out for ourselves!
I loved that there were recommendations on what steaks to order, how to prepare them and even what to pair with them. I kid you not, we were all drooling over the menu and couldn’t wait to dig in!
And when we did, as always, Outback didn’t disappoint! With juicy, tender steaks and amazing sides their meals are sure to satisfy the steak lover in all of us.
After our experience, I can’t image any other food competing for the honor of the first US national food and I can’t image going anywhere but Outback to get the very best steak each and every time! I encourage each of you steak lovers out there to do two things now:
1: Head to your local Outback Steakhouse and try the new steak menu! With 8 different cuts of their signature steaks cooked to your liking and served with amazing sides, I have no doubt you’ll fall in love with this new menu just like I have!
2: Help make steak the first national US food by signing the petition here. Then proudly be part of the movement to give the US it’s very own official food that is sure to rival any country in the world!
But wait! We want to give you a chance to try the new “Bold at Steak” menu at Outback! That’s why we’re so excited to partner with Outback to give one very lucky winner a $50 Gift Card to Outback Steakhouse! Sounds delicious, right?
