Over the past few months we’ve really stopped eating out and made a real effort to have more family dinners at home. While this has been a great change for us both financially and as far as allowing us to connect over dinner time, it has left me scrambling for recipes that allow me to mix up meals while still putting a fabulous dinner on the table. I’ll admit that I have my go-to dishes and sides that I work into the rotation on a more regular basis and right now, I’m absolutely loving these easy to make Oven Roasted Brussels Sprouts with Ginger Balsamic Glaze!
This easy-to-make dish goes with a variety of meals and it’s perfect for family dinner nights and home and when I’m entertaining. And did I mention, it’s so simple to make? Here’s how to do it:
What You Will Need
1 Pound of Fresh Brussels Sprouts
1 Teaspoon of Extra Virgin Olive Oil
1 Teaspoon of Coarse Sea Salt
1/2 Tablespoon of Minced Garlic
1 Cup of Ginger Infused Balsamic Vinegar
How to Make It
The thing I love about these Oven Baked Brussels Sprouts with Ginger Balsamic Glaze is that they are quick and easy! To start, I simply wash off my brussels sprouts, cut off the end and cut them in half.
After adding all of my brussels sprouts to a large bowl, I drizzle in my oil and add my sea salt and garlic, tossing everything gently to ensure every brussels sprout is covered.
Since they are already coated in oil, there’s no need to grease my baking sheet and instead I just pour them on and spread them out in a single layer.
Into the oven they go and are baked on 450 degrees for thirty minutes. (Side note: to add some additional flavor, you can take them out after 15 minutes, turn them and add small pieces of bacon to your baking sheet. Then simply continue to cook for 15 more minutes) While the brussels sprouts are baking, I add my Ginger Infused Balsmaic Vinegar to a bowl, bring it to a bowl and then reduce the heat to low, allowing my balsamic vinegar to reduce by about half (it takes roughly the same amount of time that the brussels sprouts take to cook). Once I have my brussels sprouts cooked to perfection and my ginger balsamic glaze ready, I remove my pan from the oven and pour my oven roasted brussels sprouts out onto a serving dish.
After drizzling my ginger balsamic glaze over the top, this easy side dish is ready to serve!
I love that it’s a flavorful way to add greens to our dinners and the fact that it’s amazing every time I make it has it ranked high in my family’s list of favorite sides!
Now it’s your turn! No matter what’s on your meal plan for tonight’s dinner, add these easy Oven Roasted Brussels Sprouts with Ginger Balsamic Glaze for a complete meal that’s sure to satisfy!
Now tell me, what’s your favorite way to eat Brussels Sprouts?
