So, how do you make them? Well, as most anyone who cooks much knows, chicken doesn’t have a ton of flavor. That’s why it’s a great canvas for my Rosemary and Sage marinade. Here’s the recipe!
What You Will Need
4-6 Boneless Chicken Breasts
1 Large Lemon
1 Tablespoon of Olive Oil
3 Tablepoons of Diced Rosemary
2 Tablespoons of Diced Sage
Salt and Pepper To Taste
How to Make It
This marinade is so simple to make and it really boosts the flavor of plain chicken. To make my Rosemary and Sage Grilled Chicken Breasts, I started by dicing my rosemary and sage.
Next, in order to avoid making a mess, I draped a plastic bag over a cup and added my olive oil and squeezed a half of my lemon into the bag.
After adding in my freshly diced rosemary and sage, I finished my marinade with a sprinkle of salt and pepper and then sealed my bag, massaging my marinade together to combine it well.
Once my marinade for my Rosemary and Sage Grilled Chicken Breasts was ready, I added my raw chicken breasts to the bag, sealing it and massaging my marinade into the breasts. Once I had coated all of the chicken breasts with the herbs and marinade, I placed in into my refrigerator and allowed it to set for about four hours.
After marinating my chicken breasts, I placed them on a preheated grill and cooked them for about eight minutes on each side, until the interior temperature of each chicken breast was around 165 degrees.
As soon as my Rosemary and Sage Grilled Chicken Breasts were cooked to perfection, I removed them from the grill, slicked them and added a slice of lemon and some fresh rosemary to the top.
Then I simply served up this easy dish with a salad or a side of veggies for a quick and easy meal that’s bursting with flavor!
The marinade in itself keeps the chicken tender and gives it a pop with each and every bite and by squeezing the lemon slice over the top of the chicken, you can add even more taste! No matter how often you grill this summer, I encourage you to add this Rosemary and Sage Grilled Chicken Breasts recipe to your rotation because I know without a doubt you’re going to love the amazing flavor that it boasts!
