So, I know I’ve been a little quiet over the last month about my weight loss journey. I’m sure some of you are probably thinking “Well, that didn’t last long. She’s already given up!”. Well, truth of the matter is I haven’t. In fact, I’m doing so well and enjoying life so much that we extended our time on the coast and I’ve been plugging away with my diet and exercise but not having such good luck with my internet. So, since it’s now officially been 8 weeks since I incorporated Personal Trainer Food and their very simple but very effective form of eating right into my life, I wanted to come back and share with you just how successful I have been as well as some helpful and timely tips on how to lose weight while on vacation! Now, before I get to the food, I want to share my results. I’m thrilled to say that in my 8 weeks using Personal Trainer Food and exercising I’m down 30 pounds (31.4 pounds to be exact!). The promise to post measurements when I get home still stands but how about a before and after to show you my progress? When I put together this picture from May 1st and the one from today, I was shocked at how much difference 8 weeks can make!
I have to say, I’m crazy proud of the progress I’ve made. Just to show my my progression, below you can see my starting point, my progress at four weeks in and my picture that were just taken today.
I am telling you, Personal Trainer Food works! And the best part is, it works on vacation as well as it works at home! In fact, I’m being so successful on vacation that I had to share a few of my tips on how to lose weight with Personal Trainer Food while on vacation. I know that some people (including the old me) think that vacation and weight loss don’t go hand in hand but with Personal Trainer Food they can! Here’s how.
Take Your Personal Trainer Food Along
I’ll fully admit that I packed up a cooler and brought my awesome meals from Personal Trainer Food along with me on vacation. Since they are all frozen and individually wrapped, it was easy to make sure I counted out the days and took along enough food. I have eaten the Personal Trainer Meals the majority of the time and it’s so easy! I simply heat and eat and keep on with my busy vacation routine.
Dine Out (But Stick with the Personal Trainer Food Guidelines)
One of the things that derails most people on vacation is eating out. It’s not realistic to think that you’re going to not eat out while you’re away from home but with the guidelines that Personal Trainer Food provides, eating out is so easy! You see, you’re already eating REAL food with Personal Trainer Food and learning how to make smart decisions. So, I simply apply the same principals when I eat out…..no starchy carbs, little to no sugar and say no to the alcohol! I can still enjoy things like a burger but just with a lettuce bun instead of a bread one.
I can still eat my tuna tacos…minus the tacos and instead served with avocado instead of fruit salsa on a bed of lettuce.
While I love (and I do mean love) the Personal Trainer Food that I get to enjoy daily, I love even more that this plan is teaching me how to eat right and how to make smart decisions that will help me reach my weight loss goals. I’ve tried tons of other food plans in the past including Nutrisystem and have not had a clue how to make smart choices when I’m not eating “their” food but Personal Trainer Food not only makes it easy to lose weight but also makes it easy to do so no matter where I am and what I’m doing!
Keep Up the Exercise
While food is the big challenge for me when it comes to weight loss, keeping up my exercise while I’m on vacation is also important. Walks on the beach and bike rides in the forrest are a big help and are allowing me to continue my weight loss journey while I’m away from home. For me, it’s about finding simple ways to move each and every day!
As you can see, I’m not starving or killing myself at the gym while I’m on vacation and I’ve still been able to lose weight and stay on track towards my 90-day goal thanks to the principals of Personal Trainer Food! In fact, my goal was to lose 35 to 40 pounds and I’m almost there! I can’t wait to show you my final transformation at the end of this process because honestly, I’m feeling better than I’ve felt in a very long time!
If you’re looking to lose weight and change your lifestyle, I encourage you to make the same smart decision I did and let Personal Trainer Food help! Click here to visit their site, find out more about their plan and start your weight loss journey today!
Now tell me, what’s stopping you from starting your 90-day transformation?
Oh way to go, the results are remarkable. I’m going to have to check this out because there are 10 pounds having around that I don’t want. If I could stay away from sweets, I’d be okay.
31 pounds is a lot of weight you should be very proud. I was glad when I lost 15 so I will try and follow your lead to a few more.
Wow that is some amazing progress, in such a short amount of time! I am intrigued and curious about this personal trainer food!
Your are so incredibly inspiring! I think you look beautiful in both before and after pics but the fact that you say you’ve had to do little sacrifice in food even while on vacation is amazing!

It can be hard to stay the course when on vacation that’s for sure. When everyone else is out eating ice cream and such. Sugar-free ice cream doesn’t taste very good a lot of the time lol! Good job-looking great!
Congratulations on your progress. I have no problem admitting that when I am on vacation I eat whatever suits my fancy at the time, it’s part of the vacation fun.
That’s a huge difference in just after two months which is why I think this is awesome! It’s really about what you put in your body that makes your weight loss faster and healthier. I love that you found the perfect diet for you!
You are doing an amazing job! I think it is great to stay motivated during your vacation, that is hard to do. It sounds like you have a food system that works. Keep up the good work, you are close to your goal!
These tips are really great. I always eat when I am on vacation though.
I love your ideas. Finding healthy places and dishes goes a long way for weight loss.
Great job on your progress, it’s amazing what 4 weeks could do, keep plugging. I am so inspired.
You look amazing! It’s so inspirational to see that it can be done. I just need to get my butt in gear.

One of these days I’ll get into the weight loss thing. Instead of thinking about it and developing extreme anxiety. One day! Great job though 🙂 Glad you’re happy with the results.

Hi Jeannette,
I just wanted to congratulate you on your successful weight loss journey!
I myself struggled with weight loss for years until just recently when I got my old (pre-childbirth, haha) body back. I loved seeing the picture of the lettuce wrapped burger, haha, I do that anywhere I go out for supper with my husband. That way I can still enjoy the delicious burger, without a lot of guilt.
Another thing I love doing is using cucumber slices as bread to make mini sandwiches. using maybe turkey, and cheese, and some light ranch. Similar to the method with the lettuce wrapped burger.
I checked out your website and you have done a really great job with all the articles.
I will make sure to check in every now and then!
Thanks again,
Jen
Wow! Congratulations on your milestone! Indeed there is such a big difference and the output of your hardwork can be clearly seen. Cheers and looking forward on your next update.
Get it girl!!! You are seriously ROCKING it and I could use a few of these pointers!!
Wow! Love the difference! Eating healthy and being active doesn’t have to take a vacation just because you are! I think it’s awesome that you’re sticking to your program and making it work. Love the tips!
