I’m not saying anything I haven’t said before when I admit that this past year has been tough. Between my oldest son’t Type 1 Diabetes diagnosis and PICU stay, new schools, job changes and more, I went into this summer pretty close to my breaking point. I had let myself go. I wasn’t feeling good. I wasn’t looking good. I wasn’t acting good. I was at that point where I just knew something had to change. While I’ve always been the type of person who will make change happen when it’s needed, this year was so overwhelming that I found myself struggling with where to start. Thankfully, I had the opportunity to get away to my mom’s coastal home to relax, recharge and re-discover my best self. I packed up the kids, loaded the car and off we went, without much more of an idea of what came next that the fact that it would be different. Little did I know that all it would take was two short weeks to get myself back on track to who I want to be. While I know that the journey back to your best self is different for everyone, I wanted to share with you what I learned about how to re-discover your best self in two weeks.
When I went into these two weeks of summer, I had just started exercising again. I had just started paying more attention to what I eat. I had just started trying to modify my schedule to allow for rest. While I fully understand that not everyone can get away for two weeks, for me it was the kick in the rear that I needed to make some changes. However, I learned that whether I’m at home or not, making three simple changes for two short weeks can make a huge difference in how I feel! So, what changes did I make? I’m so glad you asked because these are changes that ANYONE can implement!
Find Simple Ways to Be More Active
I’ll admit that I’m not the type of person who loves to exercise. However, staying active is very important to helping me to feel my best. Over the last two weeks, I’ve made it a priority to get moving in some way each and every day. I’ve gone for walks in the quiet of the woods.
I’ve ridden bikes and allowed the wind on my face to blow away the stresses of the last year.
I’ve found that by simply finding a way to be active every day, whether it’s for 30 minutes or three hours, I’m feeling better and having more energy to do the things I want to do.
Simply Rest
While being active is a struggle at times for me, I have an even harder time resting. I very rarely sit down with a book or give myself the opportunity to just do nothing. Over the past two weeks, I’ve changed that. I’ve read TWO books in the time that I’ve been away and I haven’t felt guilty about it once.
I’ve learned that simply sitting and watching a sunset can do more to restore me that I ever imagined and knowing that, I’ve given myself permission to sit on the beach watching the waves crash long after the sky has turned magenta.
I’ve discovered that rest is an essential part of restoration and it’s something that needs to be a priority in my life to help me feel my best.
Take the Activia 2-Week Challenge
While I’ve rested and exercised more than I have in quite some times, I’ve also learned the importance of adding probiotics to my day with help from Activia. Going into these two weeks, I knew I needed to eat better but I didn’t realize how simple it is to improve my digestive health and feel so much better simply by adding Activia Probiotic Yogurt to my day. Before I tell you about my experience with the Activia 2-week challenge, be sure to grab your money-saving Ibotta offer to get Activia Probiotic Yogurt and Activia Dailies Probitioc Yogurt Drinks here. Now that you’ve got that offer in hand, I want to tell you a little more about the Activia 2-week Challenge and how it’s helped me re-discover my best me. So first, what is the Activia 2- week challenge? Well, put simply, it’s a challenge to add Activia Probiotic Yogurt or Dailies twice a day to your daily routine. I personally enjoy mine at breakfast and as an afternoon snack but I’m getting ahead of myself. First, you must head to Walmart and pick up your Activia!
Now, my Walmart was out of the Dailies (which tells me that everybody know how awesome this challenge can be) so I picked up two 12-packs of Activia Probiotic Yogurt.
Then, I brought it home, put it in the fridge and simply enjoyed it twice a day. Since I knew from the challenge that Activia may help reduce the frequency of minor digestive discomfort when consumed twice per day for two weeks as part of a balanced diet and healthy lifestyle, I was excited to see how I would feel, not only in two weeks but as the challenge progressed. Since minor digestive discomfort includes bloating, gas, abdominal discomfort and rumbling, all of which I suffer from, I was excited about completing the full two week challenge. Now, I’ve done challenges before that were hard but seriously, this one is delicious (and so easy!). I simply added Activia Probiotic Yogurt to my breakfast.
Then I added it again as an afternoon snack (I’m ALWAYS hungry at around 3pm so it was the perfect solution).
That was all it took to not only take the challenge but to rock it! I started to notice within the first few days that my digestive discomfort was reduced and I had more energy. While I know that every person is different, I immediately started to feel that I wasn’t as bloated and weighed down.
Each day that I participated in the Activia 2-week challenge, I felt better and more like the old me. That was all the motivation I needed to keep going and now that my two weeks are over, I just want to continue with enjoying Activia Probiotic Yogurt each and every day!
While I know that the difference in how I feel is a combination of all the changes that I’ve been making, I also know that the Activia 2-week challenge helped me get back on track and make good choices that helped me re-discover the best me. That’s why I want to challenge each of you to start the Activia 2-week challenge today! Here’s how to do it!
- Head to Walmart and pick up 24 Activia Probiotic Yogurt Cups or Activia Dailies using this Ibotta offer.
- Add Activia to your busy life twice a day (I recommend once at breakfast and once for a snack).
- Repeat the process for two weeks and see what a difference it can make!
So there you have it….now it’s all on you! You can feel exactly like you do today in two weeks or you can discover like I have that two short weeks can make a huge difference in how you feel!
Now tell me, why do you want to take the Activia 2-week challenge?

Getting up and doing something is always the best for me. No self pity party. Eating right always helps
Oh my last night we sat by the garden and watched the sunset and it was perfect. Sometimes in life we need to celebrate the small stuff and realize that’s what counts.
I love the Activia challenge. Both my husband and I have done it a few times. It really is amazing how much better you feel.
I love this yogurt. It’s so delicious. I love that it is healthy for me as well. I might have to take the challenge.

Self care is so important. I think it’s easy to remember to move and eat right, but allowing your body and mind to rest is harder. This is a great reminder.

The only time I don’t have to force or schedule rest time is at night when it’s bed time anyway. Good advice here.
I used to eat Activia a lot when I was younger because I loved yogurt so much. Now, I rarely eat it, but I just happen to rarely ever eat or keep dairy in the house. Strawberry was my favorite!
Activia yogurt tastes really good, and is such a good way to offer digestive benefits. I buy it all the time.
These sound like some really good tops – it is always a good idea to try and make sure you are taking care of yourself. I haven’t had activia in ages but used to love it – I am going to have to try it again now!

I love ACtivia yogurt. I usually eat yogurt for a snack between breakfast and lunch almost every day.
We have been out of school for about a week. While it is tempting to fill our time with activities, taking time to read each day has really been relaxing.
I love that you found a way to make a huge difference in two weeks. That gives all the people who need to get started a great deal of hope of seeing immediate success.
Last month was a struggle for me fitness wise as well, I hurt my knee and I stopped working out. You are right, there are other things you can do to rediscover your best self. Staying in a coastal home and watching the sunset by the beach would be awesome.
