I’ll be honest, it’s hard to believe it’s been 90 days or three full months since I put myself out there, told you all that I had totally let myself go and made a commitment to do something about it. Truthfully, this was one of the scariest things I have done because, for me, I was out of options. I had tried and tried to lose weight but it just wasn’t happening. I sucked at portion control. I struggled with craving carbs. Some day I lived off sugar. I was just a hot mess. I’ve shared more of my motivation for starting this weight loss challenge here.
Back on May 1st, I set a goal for myself to lose 30-40 pounds over the next 90 days.
To hopefully achieve my goal, I replaced my breakfast, lunch and dinner with Personal Trainer Food and I walked. That was it. Now, shockingly, it’s the beginning of August and time to share my results. Was I successful? Did I meet my goals? Am I happy with the results? Do I feel like my 90-Day challenge was worth it? And the answer to all of those questions is YES! 90 days ago I was tired and unmotivated and frustrated with my weight. I set what I thought was a lofty goal and I’m so thrilled to say that I met and exceeded it! You see, with just 90 days, changing the way I eat with help from Personal Trainer Food and walking every day, I not only lost 30 pounds. I not only lost 40 pounds.
I lost 42 pounds!
Seriously you guys! I lost 42 pounds in 90 days! I could not be more thrilled! Here’s a few more pictures of my journey for you so that you can see the difference that this 90 days made for me. Keep in mind I am wearing the exact same pants and top in each of these pictures so that you can see exactly how my body changed.
I am SO glad I took those before pictures (even though I SO didn’t want to) because looking back now, I’m absolutely beyond thrilled with my results. With help from Personal Trainer Food, I’ve been able to transition away from refined sugar and carbs and make my diet one that is high in protein. I will say without a doubt that this is a new way of life for me. I don’t ever plan on going back to where I was and I’m so thankful that Personal Trainer Food taught me that eating correctly isn’t hard. In fact, it can be delicious. After these 90 days, I’ll be striking out on my own and incorporating all the lessons I learned from eating Personal Trainer Food and I know that I’ve got all the tools I need to continue on with my journey, which now will transition to strength and toning.
So, what did I learn during these 90 days? I’m so glad you asked because for me, the lessons were huge!
- I learned that sometimes we all need a little help to reach our goals.
- I learned that my relationship with food directly impacts how I look and feel.
- I learned that I CAN change and live a healthier life.
- I learned that anything is possible if you set your mind to it.
I hope you have followed me on this journey and that it inspires you to start your own challenge to become the you that you want to be. If you have questions about my journey, feel free to ask them below and I’ll do my best to answer!

You look amazing, girl! I’m so glad you took photos along the way because you can really tell the difference from photo to photo. I, too, have put on some extra weight (all this food blogging) and a month ago I started exercising every day and eating better. I hope my results are as impressive as yours are. Congrats on a job well done.
