A few years ago when kale chips were all the rage, I made them in my oven all the time but in truth, they never got truly crispy. So, the other day I happened to pick up a bag of kale for some soup I planned on making but once I got home and sat it next to my air fryer, inspiration hit! One and one added up and I knew that my kale was not going into soup. Instead, it was going to be turned into the crispiest, easiest, best ever Air Fried Kale Chips.
Now, let me tell you, these Air Fried Kale Chips are so good that they will have you forgetting all about potato chips. You see, I was never able to get that potato chip crunch that I crave with oven baked kale chips but with air fried ones? Well, not only it is easy but it’a crazy quick!

These Air Fried Kale Chips are seriously my newest obsession and the fact that I can enjoy them guilt free? Well, that’s a TOTAL win. To start my Air Fried Kale Chips, I spread my kale out on a piece of parchment paper and drizzled my olive oil over the top.
Next, I sprinkled on HALF of my salt and pepper and used my hands to toss the kale gently so that it would be evenly seasoned. I immediately placed my kale into the basket of my air fryer and air fried my kale at 400 degrees for eight minutes, tossing it gently every 2-3 minutes to ensure even cooking.
Once my Air Fried Kale Chips were crispy, I removed them from the basket and sprinkled on the remainder of my salt and pepper.
