Desserts are a big deal in my home. They are the culmination of special occasions, the sweet way to celebrate big moments, and a simple way to make everyday celebrations unforgettable. Since I know the importance of adding a little sweetness to big and little occasions in our lives, I’m always looking for interesting new combinations and fun dessert ideas that are often a little unexpected. I’ll be the first to admit that we’re not strangers to OREO Cookies in our home, but in the past, they’ve been an easy snack. However, recently, I started baking with OREO Cookies and adding them to different dessert creations. I’ve, of course, tried the OREO Cookies cheesecake and even OREO Cookies stuffed brownies (both of which I highly recommend). However, when my youngest fell in love with bread pudding on a recent trip to Central America, I decided it was time to mix things up and create the ultimate sandwich cookie stuffed dessert. If you’ve been looking for a fun dessert idea that I promise your whole family will adore, you’ve just gotta try this recipe for OREO Cookies Stuffed Bread Pudding.

When I share how easy this OREO Cookies Stuffed Bread Pudding is to make, you’re actually going to be surprised. In fact, it’s one of my son’s favorite dishes to help me with. It starts (of course) with OREO Cookies and Bread Crumb white baguettes from Lowes Foods.
I adore using this baked fresh daily bread from Lowes Foods in my bread pudding recipe because it’s always perfectly delicious. In fact, I would even say my selection of bread is what makes this recipe amazing. To start, I cut my Lowes Foods Bread Crumb white baguettes into cubes and measured out six cups worth of bread cubes.
After greasing an 8 x 10 baking dish, I added half of my bread cubes to the bottom of my dish.
Just as the name of this dish indicates, I needed some OREO Cookies stuffing in my bread pudding, so after adding half of my Bread Crumb white baguette bread cubes to my baking dish, I quartered 20 OREO Cookies.
then added half of my OREO Cookies to the top of my bread cubes.
I repeated the process, adding the remainder of my bread cubes to the dish and topping them with the rest of my quartered OREO Cookies.
Now, I simply needed to marry my OREO Cookies and my Lowes Food Bread Crumb cubes to perfection. To do that, I added my sugar and eggs to a mixing bowl and combined them well. I then mixed in my milk, heavy whipping cream, and vanilla extract, and whisked the mixture together until it was smooth and frothy.
Once my liquid mixture was ready, I poured it over the top of my Lowes Foods Bread Crumb baguette cubes and OREO Cookies, making sure to distribute the liquid evenly.
After covering my creation with plastic wrap, I let it chill in the refrigerator for two hours, until the bread had absorbed most of the liquid. It was then ready to bake. I cooked my OREO Cookies Stuffed Bread Pudding on 350 degrees for 45 minutes, until the top is golden brown and slightly crispy.
Once my bread pudding was cooked to perfection, I removed it from the oven and whipped up a simple glaze by mixing together my powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla extract until it was smooth and creamy. I then drizzled the glaze over the top of my OREO Cookies Stuffed Bread Pudding.
With my pan of ooey gooey goodness ready to serve, I grabbed a spatula and cut my bread pudding into cubes.
After adding a slice of OREO Cookies Stuffed Bread Pudding to everyone’s plate, I topped it with a scoop of vanilla ice cream and some OREO Cookies crumbles. Just like that, I had dessert perfection that exceeded all of our expectations.
This deliciously perfect OREO Cookies Stuffed Bread Pudding is not only an amazing dessert that is shockingly good, but it’s a perfect way to explore the Stufabilities that are possible when combining OREO Cookies with Lowes Foods Original ingredients.
