  • 1 cup of Hunt's Best Ever Ketchup
  • 3 large sweet onions
  • 8 cheddar cheese sticks
  • ½ cup of buttermilk
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 cups of bread crumbs
  • Salt and pepper
  1. Peel each of the onions and cut them into inch thick slices.
  2. Separate the rings of the onions.
  3. Cut the cheese sticks long ways into thirds and line the largest onion rings with the cheese.
  4. Add a smaller onion ring to the middle, using it to create a cheese ring in between the two.
  5. Dip the cheese stuffed onion ring into buttermilk and place it on a lined baking sheet.
  6. Freeze for two hours.
  7. Once frozen, dip the cheese stuffed onion rings in whipped raw egg and then immediately in bread crumbs.
  8. Repeat.
  9. Place the breaded cheese stuffed onion rings on a baking pan.
  10. Bake at 425 degrees for 25 minutes or until golden brown.
  11. Remove the onion rings from the oven, allow them to cool and then serve immediately with Hunt's Best Ever Ketchup for dipping.
  12. Dip, dunk and enjoy!
