Some days life is just too busy to cook. But you still want healthy meal options for your family. So, you pull out the slow cooker and pop something in that can simmer all day and provide tasty goodness that evening. If you’re looking for a great recipe to do just that with, then check out this simple Slow Cooker Beef Stroganoff recipe - it’s sure to please you and your family!
Slow Cooker Beef Stroganoff
What You Will Need:
- 1 Pound Beef - cut into cubes
- One Chopped Onion
- Sliced Mushrooms to Taste
- 1 Can Cream of Onion Soup
- 1 Can Cream of Mushroom Soup
- Pepper
- 1 Package (8 oz) of Cream Cheese
- Container (8 oz) of Sour Cream
- Noodles
How to Make the Meal
Add beef cubes, chopped onion, mushroom and two cans of soup to your slow cooker and set the heat on low.
Cover your mixture and allow it to cook for 8 to 10 hours or until your meat is tender.
Approximately 30 minutes prior to serving, add in your cream cheese and sour cream and allow them to melt. Stir well every few minutes.
While your cream cheese and sour cream melt, boil your noodles. I like to use egg noodles but any type of noodles will be fine. Place the cooked noodles on a plate and cover with Beef Stroganoff! Serve with a side of green beans for a fast and tasty meal that will thrill the whole family!
Bon Appetite!

I am going to have to try this recipe this week. Thank you so much for sharing.

Thank you!
This looks so easy and would taste great on a cold windy night like tonight is! Thanks for the inspiration.
Another great option for healthy would be to use grass fed beef. I use it all of the time when I eat red meat. The flavor is amazing. For more info look on the La Cense Beef website. I’m looking forward to making this as I love to use my crock pot.

Beef stroganoff is a great recipe whether you cook it in a slow cooker or on the stove itself. I love that you can use cheaper or tough cuts of meat in it. I normally order a half beef every year so I receive all the different cuts and parts. This let me use some of the rougher cuts. Beef stroganoff is cheap, easy, tasty and nutritious.
yum! I’ve been looking for more slow cooker recipes lately. Thank you!
