I’m always on the go. Especially during the summer months, there are few moments when I’m in one place. And because of that my phone is an essential part of my daily routine. However, with being on the go also comes the chance for damage to my phone. I’m excited to partner with intelliGLASS and Tomoson to share my tips for keeping my phone safe. While compensation was received, all opinions expressed are my own.
I’m going to be honest…my phone is pretty important to me. Now you may laugh when I say that but it’s the truth. Without it I likely wouldn’t show up at the right place half the time and I’d never remember all of the million things that I need to do each and every day. Yes, without my phone I would be truly lost so it only stands to reason that keeping it safe would be a top priority in my book.
So how do I do that? Well I’m so glad you asked. Because I want to share my secrets with you - both for keeping my mom life organized on my phone and for keeping the screen safe while I’m doing it!
Let’s start with the apps that I just can’t life without. After all, apps are a big part of what makes a smartphone so appealing. While I’ll be the first to admit that I have a million apps on my phone, there are only five that I find myself going to daily. Whether it’s a way to connect, a way to figure out where I’m going or simply a way to keep myself organized, these apps are my lifeline to making the mom magic happen each and every day!
Messenger - Sorry but I just can’t make it through the day without being able to get in touch with friends and family. It’s important to me to have an app that lets me text, share images and even share videos. That way I can always stay connected no matter where I am and easily make arrangement for play dates, car pools and more!
Google Maps - This one is kind of a given but let me just reinforce by saying that I’m directioally challenged - majorly! The ability to put in the address I’m looking for and have someone lead me there turn by turn? Well, that’s pretty priceless in my book!
Sunrise Calendar - I love this calendar system because it allows me to sync my phone, tablet and computer so that all my calendars are up to date. Plus it can sync up with social media networks to ensure that I never miss an important event.
Weather Channel - Does this one sound silly? Maybe! But when you’re a busy mom on the go you need to know what park weather is going to look like that afternoon. After all, getting stuck indoors all day with kids? That’s something you’ll definitely need to prepare for!
Dragon Dictation - As a mom I know that my hands are very rarely free so having software that can type for me is pretty priceless! This allows me to send texts, messages or even make notes to myself all while being able to use my hands for the things my kids need them for!
But once my apps are ready for use, an even bigger question becomes how to I protect my screen while using them. After all, it’s just way too easy for my iPhone screen to get scratched, damaged and just generally messed up. But recently I discovered the secret to keeping my screen safe with intelliGLASS from intelliARMOR!
With a simple to install screen that is slim and lightweight and gives you protection from scratches, it’s now become the number one item on my mom must-have list. Let’s look a little more at how easy it is to use.
The intelliGLASS screen protector comes in a little box. When I received it I wondered how something so light and small could offer any protection but it totally does!
All I had to do to install my intelliGLASS Screen Protector was remove the sticky backing and line up the holes in the protector with the buttons on my phone.
Then it was as simple as pushing it gently down. There were no bubbles, no need to readjust and the best part? I had instant protection for my phone that I couldn’t even tell was there!
The intelliGLASS screen protector was so thin that it didn’t change the look of my phone at all.
And while it was invisible to the naked eye, it provided protection that I knew I could trust as I used my million apps while I was on the go.
Now, I feel great knowing that I don’t have to worry about damaging my phone while I frantically look for directions or try to remember where I’m supposed to be. Instead I can rest easy knowing that I’ve got superior protection for my phone screen and while I may forget it’s there, it gives me peace of mind to use my favorite apps, live life the way I want to and trust that my precious iPhone screen is always protected!
If you’re ready to stop worrying about scratches on your screen, you’re ready for intelliGLASS! With screen protectors for your phone and tablet, it’s the perfect way to make sure that you’ve got the screen protection you need when you need it!

I know I couldn’t get around with out some of my apps. I was not familiar with the calendar and dictation apps. I think the dictation would be a big help.
Here in Boston, we are all OBSESSED with the weather lol. It can change minute to minute, so we ALL have the Weather channel app 🙂
Our weather is pretty consistent…hot. But I still check everyday to see the high’s.
Those are some great apps. I have to try the dictation one for quick notes.

I try to keep my screen protected because they are expensive to replace!
The weather app is a MUST for me. Florida rain can happen in a second not always fun when your always out and about with the kids, so I make sure I check it a few times a day.

I have never heard of that calendar or that dictation app thanks for the tips. Off to download those now!
I’ve used my fair share of Google Maps! It’s definitely nice to have a screen protector that’s thin like that.

I have a 5 and 7 year old that just love to use my phone for face time or looking at you tube cat videos. They are not as gentle or careful with my phone as they should be. I have not found a protective cover that does not have bubbles.
I don’t have an iphone so I’m out when it comes to these apps for the most part, but some are available for android too! And that phone armor intelliglass is great!

I have a weather app also. I find it’s helpful because while you can see what it’s doing now, it’s helpful to have an idea of what it’ll be doing later.

I have most of these apps and I put them to good use. I need to add the Dragon app. That would really come in handy.
My Mom literally just got her first iPhone yesterday! I am sharing this post with her now!

Sunrise Calendar sounds awesome! I have never heard of it before, but its ability to sync to social networks sounds like it could be a life saver.
