So it’s no secret that I’ve been wanting a new baby in my home for a while now. The hubs and I have talked (and talked and talked) about whether or not our family should expand and while we decided together that our two boys are more than enough to keep us busy, I still had the urge to grow our family in one way or another. After endless talks, lots of discussion (we’ve been a dog-less family for a little while now) and a search all over North Carolina for the perfect addition, we decided this past weekend to bring home our newest family member: meet Ollie!
Ollie (short for Oleander) joined our family last Friday at a whopping 1.6 pounds at 7 weeks old. He’s a teacup Morkie (Maltese-Yorkie mix) and we couldn’t be more thrilled. In many ways, having him is like having a new baby…especially at 3am when he’s whining to go outside. However, it’s the perfect fit for our family!
Ollie is super playful and is well on his way to being house-broken (woo hoo)!
His two big brothers have fallen completely in love and I can totally understand why! He’s a little cuddler who follows us all around constantly and doesn’t want to let his new family out of his site!
Ollie will say pretty small (around five pound grown) and you can rest assured you’ll be seeing tons of him on the blog! From play time to nap time to eating time, he’s now an important part of our family and I can’t wait to share with you how he grows and changes!
Be on the lookout for more Ollie posts but for now I just had to share a little of his cuteness to show you just how adorable this new, little member of our family is! It’s totally puppy love!

Good job on the housebreaking! That was the hardest part when we brought our guys home. In theory, it seems easy, but it’s actually not!

I’m in love! I lost my constant companion of 15yrs. And though I’ve tried I can’t get close to another. I can’t bare to lose again. My Shih Tzu BJ was my everything.
OMG! Ollie has stolen my heart right from the computer screen. I’ve heard of Yorkie, but I didn’t know Morkie was a thing. This is my ideal dog, super cute and really small.

Oh my heart! Ollie is adorable! We have 2 Yorkies and one is a teacup too. A whole 3 pounds. He was 24 ounces when we got him. Enjoy Ollie. I’ve heard great things about Morkie!

Oh my gosh, Ollie is so cute. Sounds like he is lucky to be a part of your home and will be very loved. We have a five month old Redbone coonhound, puppies are a lot of work but give so much happiness.
