I’ve always prided myself on being the mom that celebrates small victories and makes the most of special moments. I do everything in my power to make each day as amazing as possible. For me, whipping up special cookies for the kids or showing up with flowers for a friend is just my way of showing those around me that I care. However, the busier life gets, the more challenging it can be to turn everyday moments into magic. I’ve found that I have to be more intentional and find easier ways to turn every day into a celebration. So recently, when inspiration struck and I decided that I just HAD to whip up some easy baseball cookies to help my youngest son’s little league team celebrate an weeknight game, I wanted to find a way to make baking up this tasty treat easier. I racked my brain. I researched. And in the end I won the day big time (not to mention retained my supermom status) but whipping up some easy baseball cookies in a whole new ways with a little help from Reynolds KITCHENS® Quick Cut™ Plastic Wrap and some quick kitchen hacks.
Now, before I get to these easy baseball cookies that all you baseball moms out there are gonna want to whip up right away, let’s talk a little bit about baking. I love to bake. However, my hubby will be the first to tell you that I’m a messy baker (for real ya’ll!). When I whip up any of my sweet treats, the kitchen ends up looking like a flour bomb went off in the middle of it. Since I HATE cleaning up (and generally leave that step for the hubs which isn’t the best thing for my marriage….), I wanted to find some ways to make baking and cleaning up easier. As I thought through ways to do this, I kept coming back to my always versatile plastic wrap. I’ll admit that I’ve been a plastic wrap fans for years because of all the ways that I can use it in the kitchen. However, uneven tears have always resulted in wadded up plastic wrap for me…until now! You see, I’ve discovered that baking is better with Reynolds KITCHENS® Quick Cut™ Plastic Wrap!
This easier to use Reynolds KITCHENS® Quick Cut™ Plastic Wrap is worth celebrating! With it’s built-in slide cutter that ensures a clean cut every time, it’s Starter edge™ that makes it easy to find the start of the roll and the fact that each roll is held in place for easy use, it’s become my secret weapon that makes baking my favorite cookies and dishes super simple! Want to know more? Let me share with you how many ways Reynolds KITCHENS® Quick Cut™ Plastic Wrap helped when I was creating my easy baseball cookies!

Kitchen Hack 1: Wrap Reynolds KITCHENS® Quick Cut™ Plastic Wrap around your mixer to prevent messes!
I generally send flour flying all over the kitchen when I’m making cookie dough but with the ability to quickly and easily wrap my mixer in Reynolds KITCHENS® Quick Cut™ Plastic Wrap, there was no mess! I simply draped my Reynolds KITCHENS™ Quick Cut™ Plastic Wrap around the top of my bowl and top of my mixer, secured it in place and turned my mixer on! Once my dough was mixed, I removed the Reynolds KITCHENS® Quick Cut™ Plastic Wrap and moved on to the next step of my easy baseball cookies.
Kitchen Hack 2: Save Room in the Fridge by Wrapping Dough in Reynolds KITCHENS® Quick Cut™ Plastic Wrap
Once my sugar cookie dough was made, I needed to chill it for a few hours before baking it but, like it always seems to happen, I had very little room in my fridge. Thankfully, I can quickly and easily wrap up my cookie dough using Reynolds KITCHENS® Quick Cut™ Plastic Wrap so that it fits perfectly even in a full fridge!
Even better, with the built-in slide cutter, I don’t have to worry with messy hands. I can scoop my dough out with one hand and use the slider with the other, ensuring that I don’t end up with cookie dough all over the place.
After wrapping my sugar cookie dough in Reynolds KITCHENS® Quick Cut™ Plastic Wrap, I allowed it to cool for about three hours. Once my dough had cooled, it was on to cutting and baking my cookies! Of course since my easy baseball cookies needed to resemble a baseball, I wanted a round cookie cutter. One I had pulled out my cookie cutter, it was on to my next hack!
Kitchen Hack 3: Roll out cookie dough between layers of Reynolds KITCHENS® Quick Cut™ Plastic Wrap to avoid sticky messes!
I absolutely hate rolling out dough on my counter because it always sticks and leaves behind a huge mess! But I’ve banished the messes by using two pieces of Reynolds KITCHENS® Quick Cut™ Plastic Wrap, one underneath the dough and one on top of it! I’m able to quickly and easily roll out my dough and cut out my shapes without making a mess and when I’m done, I simply toss my Reynolds KITCHENS® Quick Cut™ Plastic Wrap in the trash!
After baking my easy baseball cookies on 350 degrees for nine minutes, I pulled them out of the oven and allowed the to cool completely before icing them. When I was ready to ice my cookies, I mixed together my confectioner’s sugar and milk and added it to a piping bag.
Kitchen Hack 4: Place Reynolds KITCHENS® Quick Cut™ Plastic Wrap under your cookies before icing them.
Since icing cookies is M-E-S-S-Y, it’s a great idea to add Reynolds KITCHENS® Quick Cut™ Plastic Wrap under your cookies to catch the extra icing and make clean up easy! Then I simply iced my cookies, covering them completely with my icing.
After allowing my icing to harden, all that was left to do to complete my easy baseball cookies was add the laces. I quickly grabbed a gel icing tube and added a row of arrows across each side of my easy baseball cookies.
Then I used a toothpick to pull through the gel icing, creating the look of baseball laces.
Just like that, my easy baseball cookies were complete and thanks to my kitchen hacks using Reynolds KITCHENS® Quick Cut™ Plastic Wrap, I had very little cleanup to do, ensuring that I could arrive at the game on time (which is a total victory for this always late mom!).
Kitchen Hack 5: Wrap up Food for travel with Reynolds KITCHENS® Quick Cut™ Plastic Wrap to keep it fresh!
My trusty Reynolds KITCHENS® Quick Cut™ Plastic Wrap had not failed me yet so I quickly grabbed it and used it to cover my cookies so that they would make the trip to the field and still look perfect and taste delicious!
With this final hack, I was able to complete my mission of being the best baseball mom around and rewarding my son’s team with easy baseball cookies that they couldn’t get enough of!
And in truth, the best part was that with the time I saved not having to do all the extra cleanup, I was able to throw dinner in the crockpot, actually fold the clothes that have been laying on the couch for a week and even get dressed in something nicer than yoga pants and a t-shirt so that I really looked like I’m the mom that has it all together when I showed up for the baseball game! Yes, you heard me right, just by finding ways to reduce the mess and make clean-up easier with help from Reynolds KITCHENS® Quick Cut™ Plastic Wrap, I was able to accomplish a number of small victories that made me feel like I’m winning at this mom thing!

This is exactly how we make our cookies too!!! Such an easy way to get the perfectly rolled out cookie dough without all of the mess.
I am in love with the new Reynolds plastic wrap. Tearing it off used to be a huge pain. I would either make a mess of the platic or accidently run a finger along the serrated edge. Im going to toss my crappy wrap in the trash and go to Walmart to grab this awesome stuff.
Those cookies are super cute. I should make these for my son tomorrow while he is at school. He loves, loves baseball.
I like the clean cut part about the Reymonds plastic wrap. I hate using plastic wraps because of the tearing process, good to know that Reymonds thought of this trick. Those baseball cookies look delicious!!
These baseball cookies look so adorable and cute. I know my kids would really love to try these cookies. My daughter wants to start softball this year!
Your baseball cookies are really cute and festive. It is all things Washington Nationals in my area. As a fellow kitchen crafter, I use a lot of Reynold’s.
What a smart tip! I am always making a mess with the flour or powdered sugar with my mixer! These cookies are totally cute too.
those cookies make me want to be on your sons baseball team. Plastic wrap is the bane of my existence on the best of days. Glad to see someone’s making it easier for us
These cookies are a great idea. Gets me in the mood for some ball!
I swear we used Reynold’s Wrap and Aluminum Foil for everything! We always buy both in bulk at Sam’s Club or Costco! These cookies are super cute too!
