Neutrogena Makeup Remover Wipes Help you Take Care of the Skin You’re In! #CBias

When I was 13, I learned life’s skincare lessons according to mom. First, never leave the house without makeup. Second, always make sure your makeup is completely removed at night.

These rules have stuck with me for almost 20 years now. I have a stunningly beautiful mom who looks 20 years younger than she is so really, there must be some truth to what she says. And while I don’t struggle too much with putting on my makeup before I leave the house, I do sometimes have a hard time getting it off at night. Let me tell you why. First, makeup can be tough to get off! Yes, we want it to stay put during the day. But at night, we want it to come off quickly and easily. We’re tired. We don’t want to have to lather and scrub and rinse and repeat. Or at least I know I don’t! And I so often find myself having to use one type of remover for my face, another for my eyes and on and on. Because makeup that is done this perfectly takes a while to get off!

However, I have been hearing some buzz about a makeup remover cloth that does all the work for you. That is strong enough to take off even my waterproof mascara. So, I figured it was time to practice what I preach and try out these Neutrogena face washes on myself! So, off to Sam’s I headed to pick some up!

Now, let me say that I am very familiar with the Sam’s beauty isle. I have been buying a variety of beauty products there for years. So when I heard they had the Neutrogena makeup remover cleansing towelettes, I was super excited! Why? Because buying in bulk saves me money! When I buy my cleansing towelettes at Sam’s, I essentially buy 3 packs and get a 4th for free! That means I can get 100 makeup remover wipes for an amazing price! There is literally nothing not to like about that! So, I headed over to the beauty isle with my fingers crossed that they would have exactly what I needed and they did!

So I added them to my cart, finished the rest of my shopping trip (seriously, you CAN’T go to Sam’s without doing a full trip because there is always something there you need) and got myself checked out so that I could go home and test these babies out!

Once I got home, got all the rest of the groceries put up and put the kiddos to bed, I was ready to embark on my nightly beauty routine. Except my nightly beauty routine has been getting overwhelming lately. By the end of the day I’ve had enough and just want to be done. I don’t want to take tons of time and use 15 different products just to get clean skin. I just want something simple so that I can pile up in the bed with a good book and have 30 minutes of alone time before the day ends. These towelettes seemed to be a great solution but until I tried them out, I wasn’t going to be a believer. The seemed too easy. Too quick. Too good to be true.

But I was ready to try something new! So I opened a pack and got ready to see what I thought. First impressions were that they are super soft! As in softer than a wash cloth or other cleanings towelettes. They are durable as well - not easily tear-able which is a good thing if you’re wanting to really get clean skin! The other thing I loved is that they are pre-moistened. As in no water needed! I didn’t have to go to the bathroom to wash my face. I could walk through the kitchen and fill up my water bottle as I was taking off my makeup. I was really liking this!

They worked fantastically on my skin. It seemed like the cloths just obsorbed the makeup! It didn’t build up and get back onto another part of my skin but instead seemed to go into the cloth, blocking it in and keeping my skin clean and soft! The after effect was skin that was so very clean! Honestly, my face felt fresh! And all in about 30 seconds to a minute!

But I want to show you the thing that was truly most amazing to me. Us women know that eye makeup is the most difficult makeup to remove. You don’t want to scrub around your eyes because that skin is so delicate but you want to get it all off so that you don’t end up waking up in the morning with raccoon eyes! These Neutrogena Makeup Remover towelettes compelely tackled my eye makeup! Without scrubbing! Simply by using light pressure and running them over my eyes! They took off the waterproof mascara, the eyeliner that I can never seem to get off and even the concealer! Just look at how amazingly well they did (but don’t look at my under eye circles!).

Can you see how free of makeup my eyes are? It was really amazing! And so simple and quick! So what did I do with extra 15 minutes that I saved on my nightly beauty regimen? I slept to get rid of those dark circles. And I could feel the difference this morning!
