Thank you Amazon for sponsoring this post. Give the gift of reading this holiday season with Prime Book Box!
Now that we’re just a few short weeks from Christmas, I’m in full on planning and shopping mode. Usually I’m the wait-till-the-last-minute type of gal when it comes to gifts just because truthfully, life is so busy this time of year. However, this year I’m trying to be a little bit more proactive with my holiday shopping and find the perfect gifts for everyone on my list without ever leaving my home. I’ll admit that the largest portion of my holiday gifts always come from Amazon because I can take advantage of amazing options for everyone in my family and use my Prime 2-day shipping to ensure that everything arrives on time. While I never have trouble finding gifts for everyone at Amazon, this year I’ve discovered that Amazon has found the perfect way to pair my Prime membership with the subscription box idea (which happens to be all the rage right now) to deliver the perfect gift ideas for book loving kids.
While my littlest has always been an on-the-go, rarely-sit-still type of kid, since he was a baby he’s loved to read. I can think back and remember in the early days of his life when his tears would stop as soon as I say down in the rocking chair with him on my lap and a book in my hands. This love of reading has continued through the years and now that he is an independent reader, I’m constantly challenged with finding new books that will entertain him and fuel his love of stories and adventure. He’s already blown through most of the books that are in his bookcase and one of the things that I wanted to do this year was to find a way to challenge him with new and exciting books that he hasn’t already read. For some time now I’ve been looking for a subscription box that delivers age-appropriate books to our doorstep and when I discovered that Amazon had created one exclusively for Prime members with their Prime Book Box, I was more than intrigued. With their awesome subscription service that allows me to choose whether we get new books every 1, 2 or 3 months, Prime Book Box always delivers curated, hardcover children’s books that my little guy can’t help but get excited about.
So how does this fun subscription program work? It’s so easy and it takes the guess work out of finding the perfect gift idea for book loving kids! To start a Prime Book Box subscription that is ideal for book lovers like my little guy and future book lovers since it offers options that are perfect for babies up to kids age 12 years old, all I had to do was visit the Prime Book Box site and choose my child’s age range. Once I had done that I had the option to customize my book choices from a list of curated options or let the books be a surprise each time. Even better, Amazon uses my recent purchase history to avoid including books that I’ve already bought from Amazon.com. I’m a big fan of surprises so I love the option to let Amazon choose the books that are in my little guy’s Prime Book Box. That way, neither of of know what’s going to show up at our door!
When our box arrived, I think I was excited as my little guy was to open the box, peek inside and see what books we had received. I already knew that each Prime Book Box contains either 2 awesome hardcover or 4 amazing board books for children that totally get my son excited about reading but what I wasn’t prepared for was the excitement he had opening the box and discovering his new books.
Once he had pulled the tab on his Prime Book Box, the contents were revealed and I promise he squealed a little when he saw what was inside.
With two hard cover titles that we don’t currently have in our home library, Prime Book Box delivered a chapter book that my son was instantly taken with as well as a second story that was perfect for us to read together.
He’s at the point right now where chapter books are everything and he was thrilled with a book he not only didn’t have but hadn’t seen at his school library either. He immediately pulled his books out of his Prime Book Box and sat down in the chair to begin reading.
I kid you not, he was so into his new books that every time I looked up, I found him with his nose in the pages, discovering the stories that the Prime Book Box had delivered. He was instantly taken with the choices that had been sent and I adored the fact that he had new book titles that I didn’t necessarily know about but that he truly loved.
While he’s always been excited about reading, Prime Book Box was the perfect way to breath new life into his love of books and I adore knowing that not only is this a great gift for the holidays but it’s a gift that will keep on giving all year long with the ability to have new books arrive from Prime Book Box every 1, 2 or 3 months.
If you have a child, niece, nephew, grandchild or friend who loves reading, give them a gift they will adore this holiday season with Prime Book Box. This fun subscription service that right now is just $19.99 per box (that means Prime members can save up to 40% off list price!) is a perfect gift idea for book loving kids this holiday season and is a gift that can inspire a love of reading in your child all year long.
Whether you’ve already bought your holiday gifts or are just getting started, I encourage you to add Prime Book Box to your list for the book loving kids in your life! You can subscribe, visit or learn more about Prime Book Box today by clicking here.
